25th April, the date that Australians and New Zealanders mark as their annual Remembrance Day of the battle at Gallipoli, is a time to remember and pay tribute to the heroes of the battle. Every year there is a Dawn Service at Hellfire Pass.

The highlights of this exclusive 2 days 1 night “ANZAC Day Special” package includes;

  • Thailand-Burna Railway Centre (War Museum):an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.
  • Allied War Cemetary: contains the graves of 7,000 predominantly British and Australian prisoners. The site is supported by the Commonwealth War Graves commission and as a result it is exquisitely kept with wonderful green lawns and colourful flowers.
  • The famous Bridge over the River Kwai: the black iron bridge was brought from Java by the Japanese supervision by Allied prisoner-of-war labour as part of the Death Railway linking Thailand with Burma. The bridge was the target of frequent Allied bombing raids during World War II and was rebuild after war ended. A daily train is still following the historical route from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok Railway Station.
  • Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum:  sponsored by the Australian government, is located on the site of the cutting and has superb interactive displays telling the story of the construction. Visitors can walk down the valley to see the actual cutting of Hellfire Pass. Although the tracks have disappeared, the route of the cutting can be clearly seen.
  • Hellfire Pass: also known by the Japanese army as “Konyu Cutting” forms part of the Death Railwaybuilt by POWs during the Second World War. Allied POW's were forced to cut through solid rock by hands days and nights with little or no food and rest. The word hellfire pass is expressed throughthe non-stop work site at night when it was lit by fires, carbide lamps and oil fired bamboo lights making the pass looks like hell
  • Dawn Service: the first service on April 25th to remember the landing day of ANZACs in Gallipoli War during WWI. Dawn Service here is prepared in the historical Hellfire Pass.
  • The resort’s full services and activities incl. River jump, Elephant riding, Royal Thai massage, Bamboo rafting, Canoeing, Lawa cave visit, Mon village visit and many more
